This lesson plan teaches an interesting concept, the atmosphere, which is sometimes difficult for middle school students to understand. Students know that there is a layer of air around Earth, bu this lesson teaches the importance of keeping it clean. Through these projects, students will be able to make a real-world connection to their environment. This seems like an effective way to teach students about their atmosphere and how pollution affects it.
